Splendor Duel is a brand new 2-player game with unique and innovative mechanics created by Marc André and Bruno Cathala. Will you be the one to win the crown? Face the opposing guild in a race to victory. Seize the Gems and Pearls from the common board, win royal favors and prestige! Players will find some key aspects of Splendor: the theme of Renaissance jewelry, quality equipment and the mechanics of acquiring cards with tokens, allowing you to increase your prestige and purchasing possibilities. However, Splendor Duel is based on completely new rules and offers new game material: a common board, Privilege figurines and Royal Favor cards. While the famous tokens representing precious stones are still there, they are in a compact format and are joined by a new resource, pearls. Finally, the game cards have multiple characteristics and varied abilities, which will allow you to influence the game (extra turn, bonus token, etc.) and achieve one of the three victory conditions.

Splendor Duel is aimed at different audiences: Splendor fans who want to discover new game rules and try new tactics, as well as fans of games for two, who will be able to experience a fierce and tense duel in less than 30 minutes.

This is a standalone game. No other Splendor product is required to play it.
